At the heart of our non-profit organization lies an enthusiastic drive to promote education, personal and professional development, while offering enriching activities and attentive monitoring of children’s education, welcoming with dynamism both youth full of promise and wisdom and the experiences of older people.

Our commitment is also strengthened by the desire to create an inclusive environment where each individual, whatever their age, background or challenges, feels valued and supported in their learning and personal development journey, with the aim of promoting a thriving intergenerational community, united by the common desire to grow together.

Our team

Kadir Demir

DIRECTOR

A graduate in Biomedical Sciences, Kadir Demir is a committed figure in the fields of education, training, and international cooperation. His journey is marked by strong involvement in community organizations and extensive expertise developed through numerous educational projects, both in Belgium and abroad.

Before founding Brussels Education & Development, he coordinated several initiatives in partnership with renowned institutions such as the Maarif Foundation and the Presidency for Turks Abroad (YTB), where he served as coordinator in Belgium. These experiences enabled him to build a solid understanding of youth-related issues, intercultural dialogue, and European mobility.

As director of the non-profit organization, Kadir now puts his skills to work in support of an inclusive and intergenerational vision of education, focused on youth empowerment, personal development, and building bridges between cultures.

Selim Ardağ

DEPUTY DIRECTOR

A graduate in Chemistry, Selim Ardag brings to the non-profit organization a strong scientific background combined with a passion for education and intercultural development. His journey is enriched by significant experience in managing and coordinating Erasmus projects, where he has contributed to promoting mobility, idea exchange, and collaboration among young people from diverse backgrounds.

Through his involvement in these European initiatives, Selim has developed an inclusive and dynamic vision, firmly believing that education is a key driver in building bridges between generations and cultures. As Deputy Director, he works enthusiastically to strengthen the organization’s efforts in academic support, personal and professional development, and to encourage active participation from all members of the community.

Mehmet Namni

TREASURER

With a rich background in international trade, Mehmet Namni brings solid experience in key sectors such as automotive, banking, and finance. He began his career in automotive after-sales service before moving into the management of private and professional client portfolios in the banking sector. Today, he works in the field of factoring, where he continues to deepen his expertise in financial solutions.

Beyond his professional career, Mehmet is actively involved in the non-profit and educational sectors. He has contributed to the development and follow-up of several Erasmus projects and local initiatives focused on education, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue. His hands-on involvement in these projects reflects his commitment to sharing his experience and encouraging young people to broaden their horizons.

As treasurer of the non-profit organization, he ensures rigorous and sustainable financial management. A key member of the team, he plays a strategic role by bringing both economic insight and a human-centered approach in support of an inclusive, intergenerational, and ever-evolving educational community.

Hasan Kayman

IT MANAGER

With a degree in Business IT, Hasan Kayman is a web developer with strong expertise in designing, maintaining, and optimizing digital solutions. His professional background includes working on a variety of projects that combine technical performance with user experience, serving organizations seeking meaningful impact.

Alongside his technical skills, he has significant experience in online advertising, particularly through Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram, which he leverages to enhance the visibility and reach of the organization’s initiatives.

Committed to accessible and ethical digital practices, he contributes his know-how to support the association’s educational mission. As IT Manager, he ensures the security, reliability, and modernity of the organization’s digital tools, while guiding the team through digital transformation and online communication.
